It's Never too Late to Win with Bitcoin

Bitcoin has risen more than 5,000,000% in price between its early days and its highest price of all time, but has most of its big gains already been achieved compared to other crypto opportunities?

Over the course of about 12 years, Bitcoin (BTC) went from the status of a little-known experiment to trading as an entirely new asset class recognized by the mainstream financial world. In that time, the price of a Bitcoin has gone from less than $ 1 to more than $ 60,000 at its peak. People have bought the asset at different points along the way, with some users making significant profits from Bitcoin's upward price journey. Given that Bitcoin is now trading at tens of thousands of dollars per coin, is it too late to benefit from getting into BTC now? Empirex Capital believes not and we will tell you why.

People had months to stock up on BTC for less than $ 0.10 per coin in 2010, according to BraveNewCoin's Bitcoin Liquid Index (BLX) on TradingView. However, the difficulty in buying Bitcoin so early was that the asset had much less advertising and buy ramps available than it does today.

Even in 2015, however, there were plenty of opportunities to buy BTC for less than $ 330 per coin, which would generate significant profits if sold at current prices. Although Bitcoin had already racked up huge percentage gains at $ 330 per coin, a unit of the asset was still affordable compared to prices above $ 50,000.

Some participants in the crypto industry have speculated on the value of Bitcoin reaching prices significantly higher than its all-time high of nearly $ 65,000, with some even thinking that $ 1,000,000 per BTC is not out of the question. A more noticeable hike means more potential future gains for BTC, although such percentage gains may be less than some of the gain percentages seen in certain altcoins in 2020 and 2021.

Bitcoin, present and future

The price of Bitcoin at the time of writing was $ 46,095.40 with a 24-hour trading volume of $ 29,341,271,235. Bitcoin is down 1.57% in the last 24 hours.

The price of BTC has dropped below $ 46K, but analysts are betting on new all-time highs for Bitcoin. A drop below $ 46,000 has little impact on sentiment, with a longer-term view still favoring a showdown with $ 60,000 or more.

Bitcoin currently has a live market capitalization of $ 865,991,889,870 USD. It has a circulating quantity of 18,786,950 BTC coins and a maximum supply of 21,000,000 coins. The rise of Bitcoin and its profitability in the end of 2021, is projected at $ 85,000.
